The Kryvyi Rih Faculty of the National University "Odessa Law Academy", situated in the city of Kryvyi Rih of the Dnipropetrovsk region, is a structural unit of "Odessa Law Academy" which provides friendly environment, individual approach, solid academic background and reasonable tuition fees.

Under the decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Faculty was established as Kryvyi Rih Training Centre of Odessa Law Academy in June, 1998. However, in 2010, it  was transformed into Kryvyi Rih Faculty of the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

The creation of the Faculty was reasoned by the demand for qualified law enforcement officers, judiciary, public administration and municipal officials.

The Faculty provides the training in the framework of two specializations: "Criminal Justice" as well as "Civil and Economic Justice" involving 600 students from 16 regions of Ukraine.

The magistral personnel of Kryvyi Rih Faculty of the National University "Odessa Law Academy", the centre of legal education of Dnipropetrovsk region, engages legal practitioners, public officers, arbitrators, advocates and media representatives.

To be said, the legal clinic, which is a subdivision of the Faculty, has been set up to provide pro-bono legal aid.

The professors of the Faculty have been awarded with state and municipal decorations for their contribution to the legal education and assistance.

Kryvyi Rih Faculty of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" has been headed by Vitaly Zaluzhny, who has solid professional background as a law enforcement officer, since June, 2017. The faculty raises its academic potential: 1 doctoral and 6 candidates dissertations have been defended. The Kryvyi Rih Faculty has three departments. Moreover, it provides postgraduate programmes, military training and apprenticeship.

The Faculty has contemporary training facilities: the educational building with lecture halls, specialized classrooms, and an academic library with instant access to the internet.

The facilities of the Faculty meet students' educational and social needs. Non-resident students are accommodated at the dormitory.

It should be mentioned that the full-time students may simultaneously undertake legal and military training.

The administration of the Faculty gives considerable attention to the teaching process arranging visits to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine along with other state and local authorities as well.

Oleg Stets, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Deputy Dean, manages the teaching and educational process.

Following the University's traditions of diverse and harmonious upbringing, the Kryvyi Rih Faculty constantly holds cultural and recreational activities.

The students are involved in charity benefits for orphans and seniors.

Professors and students of the Faculty take part in local, international and interacademic conferences. For instance, the student academic conference on the occasion of Human Rights Day that covers the legal issues has been conducted since 2007. The findings and reports of the Conference are represented in scholarly volumes. Moreover, the Faculty is annually involved in the regional interacademic student conference "Kryvyi Rih historical and legal readings".

The students are interned at judicial bodies, law enforcement and justice authorities, local government bodies, legal firms as well as notary offices. Consequently, each graduate of the Faculty acquires the state-recognised degree which allows him or her to take an assignment.

The Faculty has laid groundwork for the Student Research Society. The magistral personnel has published a large number of articles and monographs.

The research endeavours of the Faculty are coordinated by Meral Amaryan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy Dean for Scientific and Methodological work.

The Kryvyi Rih Faculty of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" is the centre of legal education of the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Faculty is represented by the Chair of Penal Disciplines; the Chair of Constitutional, International and Private Law and the Chair of Social, Political and Economic Disciplines.

The Faculty is continually improving the organization of educational and research process.

The principles of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" such as: innovations and harmonious upbringing and their implementation into the instruction process are the framework of Kryvyi Rih Faculty.
