The main strategic task of the University is to provide quality training at the level of international standards. Implementation of key provisions of the Bologna process requires consideration of national approaches to learning, educational content, and traditions in training future specialists with higher education.

The basic strategy development of the University is laid down on the following priorities:
    comprehensive modernization and improvement of teaching and education;
    transition to an innovative model to ensure high quality of training;
    integration into European and world educational community, implementation of the Bologna Declaration;
    active development of research and the growing influence of its results to address problematic issues in legislation and law enforcement activities;
    strengthen the educational component in training based on systematic work focused on the development of students' spirituality, patriotism, conscious attitude, physical perfection;
    favorable material living conditions for the educational process of teachers and staff, strengthening scientific - teaching staff.

Training is built for training courses: Bachelor - Specialist - Master of advanced educational technologies, including interactive methods.

The University at the Law College prepares young professionals.

At the University the Department of military training works.

The University, in addition to basic school, where are 6 faculties, 3 institutes, civil service master, postgraduate and doctoral studies includes also 8 training centers located in Kiev, Nikolaev, Simferopol, Odessa, Chernovtsy, Nikopol, Krivoy Rog, Ivano-Frankivsk and the Law College, 5 vocational schools, Interregional Center for retraining military personnel, retired (Kyiv).

The University has created powerful human resources. Scientific degrees and titles have 346 teachers. Among them are doctors, professors - 52 persons, Ph.D., associate professors - 294 persons.
