The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is pleased to announce a competition from Tulane University (New Orleans, USA).
The Mankal Foundation for Economic Education (Mankal) and Economists for Ukraine (E4U) are now accepting applications for the Ideas Have Consequences Competition (IHCC).
The competition is aimed at recognising and encouraging student research papers that develop official research projects and policy documents for the reconstruction of the post-war economy of Ukraine. Mankal and E4U invite essays that focus on the search, development and application of ideas for post-war reconstruction.
The winner and five finalists will present their projects at one of the selected Free Market Road Show (FMRS) events in April-May 2024. The winner, selected by the competition committee, will receive a free round-trip flight and accommodation in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, for the public presentation.
The competition is aimed at recognising and encouraging student research papers that develop formal research projects and policy documents for the reconstruction of Ukraine's post-war economy.
The deadline for submitting the papers is 20 October 2023.
