For 14 years the University of Salzburg (Austria) and the National University "Odessa Law Academy" have close academic ties, annually receiving new development on the initiative of the Austrian partners and President of NU “OLA” Academician Sergey V. Kivalov.
So this year, from July 1 to July 13, 2019, the Faculty of Law of the University of Salzburg invites young scientists, graduate students and university students to take part in the Summer School of European Private Law.
Understanding the various legal systems and their underlying principles in private law has become extremely important for lawyers who want to play an important role in the globalized modern world.
This year, more than 40 professors will act as teachers of the school, as well as several judges from the Supreme Courts and / or the European Court of Justice.
Lectures are generally read in English. Seminars are organized in parallel sessions (English, German and French).
Three (3) candidates from the University will receive the opportunity of free participation in the Summer School (the University of Salzburg covers the cost of participation in the School and living in a dormitory). Travel expenses and food - at the expense of the contestants.
There is an internship opportunity with full payment of expenses.
Candidates will be selected on a competitive basis, in accordance with the Regulations on Academic Mobility of the University
The main selection criteria are high academic performance, active participation in the public and academic life of the university, publications on the topic, knowledge of a foreign language at a level not lower than B2, according to the European Qualifications Framework.
