On 12th and 14th March 2024, Natasha Costello, an English lawyer and law lecturer with over 20 years of experience in teaching law and legal skills in English, held lectures on the English Legal System for all students, PhD students, and academic staff of the National University “Odesa Law Academy.” These lectures were held at the invitation of Daria Minchenko, the Head of the International Relations Office.
On 15 March 2024, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" hosted a meeting with writer, journalist and political analyst Paul Hockenos (USA) with the students of the university.
Paul Hockenos is a writer, journalist and political analyst based in Berlin and New York, working in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. His work has been published in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Nation, Foreign Policy, New Statesman, The Christian Science Monitor and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
On 22 February 2024, Professor Enrico Albanesi, Professor of the Department of Constitutional Law at the University of Genoa (Italy), researcher and co-leader of the IALS Legal Reform Project at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), University of London, visited the National University of Odesa Law Academy.

Yesterday IE University’s School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs (Spain) held a presentation of Global Tax Evasion Report prepared by the staff of the EU Tax Observatory “Fighting Global Tax Evasion: What Happened, What Could Happen Now”.
A key message of this report presented by Gabriel Zucman is that tax evasion is not a law of nature but a policy choice. As interconnected nations we can choose free-for-all policies that allow it to fester, or we can choose coordination to curb it. It is also possible to make major progress through unilateral action, should ambitious global agreements fail.
From 1 September 2018 to 31 December 2022, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" implemented the Jean Monnet Module "The EU as a Global Actor and Agent of Change" (No. 599761-EPP-1-2018-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE). This module aims to improve teaching and research on the European Union's foreign policy and provide students with practical skills. The National University "Odesa Law Academy" ensured the participation of teachers in this project. Among them are professors and associate professors of the Department of International and European Law: Surilova O.O., Akimenko Y.Y., Dronov V.Y., Manuilova K.V., Grushko M.V., Vladyshevska V.V., Grib G.M., Belogubova O.O., Professor of the Department of Intellectual Property and Patent Justice O.I. Kharytonova and others. The project was coordinated by Professor Bihniak O.V.
