From 20 to 29 November in Clermont-Ferrand (France), a human rights project was held in the framework of Erasmus + "Stand up for human rights". It was attended by 25 young people from different countries: Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain and Romania. Two students of National University "Odessa Law Academy" the faculty of journalism Artem Dymchenko and the faculty of international legal relations Mykyta Posmetnyi represented our university and Ukrainian team in the international exchange.
During the youth exchange, groups of young people from different countries jointly developed, prepared and carried out a program of work. Usually this is a combination of seminars, debates, role games, simulations, outdoor activities. The participants were supported by experienced couches, enabling them to develop competence, to understand socially important topics, to study new cultures and to strengthen values such as solidarity and democracy.
"It is important that the project is not just a theory. In this project you practice to rethink the problems of the modern world, make new acquaintances and discover yourself completely new. We received great experience in France, which will be obviously used by ourselves in real practice and life", – noted students-participants Mykyta and Artem.
