Natalya Mishina – Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor

Education: degree in Law (Faculty of Law, Odessa National University), degree in Economics (Faculty for Advanced Training of Odessa State Economic University).

In 2002, she defended her candidate's thesis on "The municipal administration in the United States and Great Britain: comparative and legal research". In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation on "The authorities of population self-management: comparative and legal research".

In 2010, she was awarded a Diploma "Lawyer of the year 2010" by Odessa Regional Organization of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine. In 2012, she obtained academic status of Docent. She is a Director of the European Public Law Centre of the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

Mariana Afanasyeva – Doctor of Law, Professor

Education: degree in Law at the Odessa National Law Academy (2000); postgraduate degree at the Odessa National Law Academy (2004), doctoral degree at the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

She carries out legal practice in the area of administrative and commercial litigation and takes the position of a Head of the Counselling Centre for and electoral law and technologies of the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

Area of expertise: Constitutional Law, Electoral Law and the Electoral Procedure, electoral engineering and technique.

Boris Perezhnyak – Professor of the Department, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Professor, Dean of the Extramural Faculty № 2

Education: Odessa State University (1977), degree in Law.

He had taken occupations of Assistant Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor of the Department of Public and Administrative Law of Odessa State University since 1977. In 1988, he was assigned Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law. In 1993, he became a Dean of the Faculty of State-building and Administration of the Institute of Law of OSU. He has worked at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" since 1997.

He is a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Yuridicheskiy Vestnik".

Angelica Krusyan – Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of General Theoretical Jurisprudence, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Kyiv Institute of the National University "Odessa Law Academy"

Education: she graduated from the Odessa State University in 1991 and earned a degree in Law with honours.

She worked at the Public Prosecutor Office of Odessa region  between 1991 and 1996.

She has carried scientific and pedagogical activity since 1996. Career: Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Public and International Law of the Odessa State University (1996-1997); Assistant Lecturer of the Chair of Constitutional Law of the Odessa State (National) Law Academy (1997-1998); Senior Lecturer at the Department of Constitutional Law of the ONLA (1998-2000); Associate Professor of  the same Chair of the ONLA (2000-2009); Postgraduate student at the Department of Constitutional Law of the ONLA (2009-2010); Associate Professor of the Department (2010-2011); Professor of the Chair (2011);  Head of the Department of Constitutional Law (2011-2016); Head of the Department of General Theoretical Jurisprudence, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Kyiv Institute of Law of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" (2016-present).

Yuriy Baltsiy – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Docent

He graduated from Odessa State Law Academy in 1998.

In 2001, he graduated the postgraduate school of the Odessa National Law Academy.

In 2006 he, defended his candidate's thesis on "The legal status of a Head of a town in Ukraine".

In 2010, she graduated from the Institute for Professional Judges Training of the Odessa National Law Academy and obtained Master's degree with Merit.

Vadim Barskiy – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Juridical sciences, Docent

Education: he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Odessa State University in 1996 and gained a degree in Jurisprudence with merit.

In 1996, he admitted the postgraduate programme at the Department of Constitutional Law of Odessa State Law Academy. In 2000, he was enrolled in the COLPE "Comparative Constitutional Law" programme for young teachers from the former Soviet Union and Mongolia, held under the auspices of the Central University (Budapest, Hungary). In November 2000, he was a participant of the COLPE "European human rights protection system" programme for young teachers from the former

Soviet Union and Mongolia, held under the auspices of the Central University (Budapest, Hungary). Then, he participated in the Project Tacis «Legal Studios: Kiev and regions" EUROPEAID/111910/C/SV/UA). In September 2004, he took part in the 14th International Summer School on human rights (Warsaw, Poland).

Darya Volkova – Assistant Lecturer of the Department, Candidate of Juridical Sciences

Education: she graduated from the Odessa National Law Academy in 2002.

In 2002, she entered the postgraduate school of the Chair of Constitutional Law of the Odessa National Law Academy. She has worked as an Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Constitutional Law of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" since 2007. In 2015, she defended her candidate's thesis on "The Constitutional legislation of Ukraine on voluntary

organizations: status and prospects of the implementation of European standards".

Albert Ezerov - Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Docent

Education: Odessa National Law Academy, Master of Law, 2003. He undertook a postgraduate programme at the Department of Constitutional Law of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" between 2003 2007. In 2007, he defended his candidate's thesis under the guidance of Professor Orzikh. He acquired academic rank of Docent in 2012.

He had been Assistant Lecturer of the Chair since 2006, however in 2008, he became Associate Professor.

He was in charge of the Club for Public Law between 2009 and 2015.

Ksenia Kuli-Ivanchenko – Assistant Lecturer of the Department, Candidate of Juridical Sciences

Education: she graduated from the Odessa National Law Academy and gained master's degree with merit in 2004. That year, she entered the Graduate School of the Public Service of Odessa National Law Academy and, besideds, admitted the extramural postgraduate course. In 2005, she acquired master's degree in Public Administration (with honours). She graduated the postgraduate school in 2007.

She has occupied a position of an Assistant Lecturer of the Department Constitutional Law since 2007.

Dmitriy Terletskiy – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Juridical sciences, Docent

Education: Odessa National Law Academy, degree in Law (2003).

He has been engaged in legal practice in the area of Corporate, Competition and Antitrust Law since 2002.

Area of expertise: the interaction of International Law and national Constitutional Law, the constitutional and legal regulation of the implementation of International Law within Ukraine, the legal status and practice of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the development of Constitutional Law and the constitutional reform.

Significant achievements: he has authored 20 scientific efforts. Moreover, he took part in international, national and regional conferences and seminars.

Significant achievements: she has over 40 publications and takes active part in international, national and regional conferences and seminars.

Vladimir Mikhalev-Associate Professor of the Department

Education: Odessa State University, degree in Law (1983).

He used to hold following positions: Senior Research Assistant of the Odessa Higher School for Naval Engineers; Assistant Lecturer and Senior Lecturer of the Odessa State University; Senior Lecturer of the Odessa National Law Academy.

Area of expertise: Constitutional Law of foreign countries, Constitutional Law of Ukraine, human rights.

Significant achievements: he has provided 50 scientific and methodical papers. He has acquired the distinction "For excellence in Ukrainian education".

Sofia Son – Senior Lecturer of the Department

Education: Odessa State University, Faculty of Geography and Geology (degree in Economic Geography in 1988). In 1995, she graduated from the Odessa State University, Faculty of Law (degree in Law).

She held following occupations: in 1981-1983, she worked as a Research Assistant of the Odessa State University;  in 1996-1997, she was a Lecturer of the Odessa State University; between 1998 and 2006, she was an Assistant Lecturer of the Odessa State Law Academy (the Chair of Constitutional

Law) in 2006. Following this, she was transferred to the post of a Senior Lecturer.
