Council of Europe Economic Crime and Cooperation Division (ECCD) has signed an Expert Services Contract with representative of Odesa School of Law profesor Viacheslav Tuliakov.
Economic Crime and Cooperation Division (ECCD) of the Council of Europe oversees technical cooperation initiatives in member states and neighboring jurisdictions, focusing on combating corruption, money laundering, terrorist financing, and various forms of economic and organized crime.
Within this framework, the selected experts will be enlisted to offer intellectual services supporting the ongoing and future projects implemented by ECCD. The scope of tasks encompasses, but is not limited to, analyzing and providing advice on policy development and implementation, designing legislative and institutional responses to combat economic crime, offering guidance on the effective implementation of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering measures, managing risks and vulnerabilities related to corruption, money laundering, and terrorist financing, as well as providing capacity-building for practitioners in beneficiary countries, among other responsibilities.
The involvement of representatives of the National University of Odesa Law Academy in the expert community of the Council of Europe once again confirms the high quality of educational services and research activities of the university, as well as the international recognition of the achievements of our law school.
