Department of Civil ProcedureThe Department of civil process was established in January 1998 as a result of dividing on two Departments the Department of Civil law and process. The staff of the Department of civil process consists of 12 teachers. Among them Jury Chervony has 90 scientific works. He was the scientific head for 3 candidates of legal sciences: L. Didenko, R. Gongalo, S.Chvankin. The teachers of the Department of civil process have constantly been publishing scientific articles in magazines and digests of scientific works. Also 13 textbooks were published, one of which is a scientific-practical commentary of Code about Marriage and Family of Ukraine (authors - J. Chervony, G. Volosaty, O.Kalitenko). This edition received second premium in a nomination "Scientific-popular, scientific-practical and reference edition in sphere of law" in third All-Ukrainian competition for best legal edition in 1999-2000. In 2006 Scientific-practical commentary of Family Code of Ukraine, second edition, and the textbook "Civil process of Ukraine" were issued. In 2007 the textbook "Civil process of Ukraine" in Ukrainian language was published. Professor Jury Chervony took part in preparing of the first edition of the scientific-practical magazine "Digest of the Civil law" (chef-editor - Professor E. Kharitonov). The Department of civil process participated in second All-Ukrainian Civil law scientific conference of students and post-graduate students which took place in March, 30-31, 2007 on Department of Civil and Commercial Justice. The teachers of the Department of civil process developed programs on practice, civil procedure, notariate, legal statistics, law regulation of property relations, executive procedure. The active methods of education are used on the Department of civil process: students are involved in discussions of normative acts, modeling of practical situations. Students get to know the practice of work of legal organizations, notariate, state executive service. Students attend the trials. As a new tendency the Department of civil process studies the problems of unification of norms of the civil process legislation.
Since 2006 the Department of civil process has been working on topic "Traditions and innovations in civil process law of Ukraine, notariate and in the legal statistics". The results of the investigations are used, first of all, for teaching of students and also in legal practice, for making propositions to legislation. Lawyer of Ukraine” for valuable personal contribution to strengthening of law and order and high professionalism.
