Educational department

Head of the Department Oleksandr M. BONDAR

The Educational Department was created immediately after the foundation of the Academy with the purpose of organizing and monitoring the teaching process carried out by all the departments and training Centres of the Academy.

The Department performs the following functions:

- participates in drafting the academic plans for different faculties of the Academy and the educational centres;

- makes schedule of lectures and examinations;

- defines the course load of the departments and supervises its distribution among the lecturers;

- organizes and monitors the educational, on-site practical training of the students;

- participates in the organization of methodological work and development of curricula;

- organizes advanced training of the staff;

- controls the students’ promotion;

- issues diplomas of junior specialists, bachelors, specialists, masters, school and student tickets, academic references;

- prepares the documents for personalized scholarship holders, scholars, who obtain the scholarships of the President of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada;

- exercises supervision over the teaching process, keeps departments and the dean’s offices files in order;

- provides office supplies for various departments;

- submits reports on the Academy’s activities to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, regional administration of education, collects statistical data for the President and the Rector of the Academy.
