Head of Department
Since the inception of the National University "Odesa Law Academy," the preparation of prospective students for university admission has been facilitated by the Preparatory Department of the Center for Organization of Educational Training and Information-Analytical Work.
Courses are conducted by the faculty of NU "OLA," specifically by the following departments: General Theory of Law and State; History of State and Law; Applied Linguistics; Foreign Languages; National Economy; Information Technology; Cybersecurity; Administrative and Financial Law; Civil Law; Criminal Law; Labor Law and Social Security Law; Constitutional Law; Judicial Organization, Law Enforcement Agencies, and Advocacy; Agrarian, Land, and Environmental Law.
The educational process consists of theoretical and practical sessions, testing, and independent work under the supervision of instructors. Classes at the Preparatory Department allow students to systematize and deepen their knowledge, receive professional career guidance, and prepare for admission to Higher Education Institutions or Institutions of Professional Pre-Higher Education.
Preparatory courses are available to individuals holding basic secondary education, complete general secondary education, specialized secondary education, and those holding a "Bachelor's" degree.

2. Preparation Courses for Admission to Vocational Colleges:
- Ukrainian Language and Fundamentals of Official-Business Style with a Legal Focus: Duration of study – 3 months
- Ukrainian Language and Fundamentals of Official-Business Style with a Legal Focus: Duration of study – 4 weeks
3. Preparation Courses for Admission to the Master’s Degree Program:
- Law: Duration of study – 3 months
- Law: Duration of study – 3 weeks
- Logic: Duration of study – 3 months
- Logic: Duration of study – 3 weeks
- English Language: Duration of study – 3 months
Note: Preparatory courses provide not only an additional opportunity to acquire and systematize knowledge for confidence in one's abilities but also facilitate psychological adaptation to the higher education environment.
