The Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture of the European Union announced the results of the 2018 Competition for the "Development of Higher Education Capacity" ERASMUS + Programme.
Project "Modernization of master programs for future judges, prosecutors, investigators in relation to European standards on human rights" (598471-EPP-1-2018-1- AT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP), with the participation of National University "Odessa Law Academy", became one of six projects involving Ukrainian NGOs selected by the European Commission for funding in the next three years.
The project application with the participation of National University "Odessa Law Academy" has become the only approved application with the participation of the universities of Odessa region (for more details: https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus/selection-results/capacity-building-higher-education-2018_en).
The consortium for project implementation also included the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and leading universities in Austria, the Republic of Belarus, Germany, Croatia and France.
The main aim of the project is to improve the preparation of masters for work in the system of judicial and law-enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine in the context of understanding and observance of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
The implementation of the project is scheduled for 2019-2021. The preliminary draft budget is 900,000 euros.
