On April 23, 2021, the lecture in English of the American professorJ Holmes Armstead was held on-line, in the form of a Zoom conference.

The lecture consisted of three models: "Legal norms established as a result of the Hague and Geneva Conventions", "Rules have been codified and included in the Statute of the International Criminal Court (The Hague, the Netherlands)" and “The impact of established norms on today's protection of rights and freedoms”

25 students and post-graduate students of the University attended the lecture.

Dr. J. Holmes Armstead is a professor of international law at the US Naval War College. For more than 40 years, he has taught international law, strategy and national security policy. He has also lectured at the British College of Combined Services, teaching as a visiting professor at the University of d’Pa in France and at the University of Richmond, University of London. He was named a Fulbright Professor to Ukraine in 2016.
