The Department of Information Technologies is part of the Faculty of Cybersecurity and Information Technology and provides training full-time and correspondence studies at all the faculties of the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

The Department is focused at giving profound knowledge in information technologies and implementing them into the educational process of the National University “Odessa Law Academy”.

The Department provides teaching of disciplines within the limits of preparation of specialists in industries: 06 “Journalism”, 07 “Management and Administration”, 08 “Law”, 12 “Information Technologies”. The Department provides following courses and disciplines: “Information technologies”; “Information technologies in Sociologist Practice”; “Information technologies in Political Scientist Practice”; “Information technologies in Psychologist Practice”; “Computer-technical means in advertising and PR”; “Computer-technical means of production”; “Web Design and HTML”; “Contemporary information technologies”; “E-Governance, Information technologies, Resources and Services in the public service”; “Information systems and technologies”, “Operating Systems”, “Fundamentals of software engineering”, “Algorithmization and programming”, “Computer circuit design and computer architecture” and others.

Disciplines taught in the Department is aimed at shaping the knowledge and skills of future specialists in the competent use of modern information technologies, domestic and international information resources, as well as software-hardware and organizational and legal information protection methods.

The content of the disciplines and syllabus meet the requirements and specificity of each faculty of the National University «Odessa Law Academy».
