SCIENTIFIC SOCIETY OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS,
POSTGRADUATES, AND STUDENTS

The Scientific Society of Young Scientists, Postgraduates, and Students of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" (hereinafter referred to as the Scientific Society of NU "OLA") is a voluntary association of individuals. It serves as a self-governing body for young scientists, postgraduates, and students, and constitutes an integral part of the self-government system of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" (hereinafter referred to as NU "OLA") in accordance with the Charter of NU "OLA".

Structure of the Scientific Society

The Scientific Society is composed of the Student Scientific Society (hereinafter referred to as SSS), which coordinates the research activities of students, and the Council of Young Scientists (hereinafter referred to as CYS), which coordinates the research activities of postgraduates and young scientists at NU "OLA".

The Objective of the Scientific Society's Activities is:

  1. the unification of students, postgraduates, young scientists, and other individuals for the organization of research work;
  2. facilitating the enhancement of the quality of scientific and practical training;
  3. broadening general and professional intellectual horizons;
  4. providing comprehensive assistance for the execution of research projects and programs implemented at the National University "Odesa Law Academy" (NU "OLA");
  5. assisting the administration of NU "OLA" in the organization of the educational process;
  6. promoting the participation of students, postgraduates, and young scientists in international, All-Ukrainian, regional, and other scientific events and projects;
  7. ensuring the protection of the rights and interests of individuals studying or employed at the higher education institution, particularly concerning matters of scientific activity.

The Main Directions of the Scientific Society's Work are:

  • organization of scientific and educational events;
  • popularization of scientific activity among student youth, facilitating the engagement of individuals studying at the institution in scientific work and innovative activities;
  • representation of the interests of students, postgraduates, doctoral candidates, and young scientists before the administration of NU "OLA" and other organizations regarding issues of scientific work and the development of academic careers;
  • facilitating the improvement of the quality of scientific research;
  • facilitating the exchange of information between young scientists and researchers;
  • facilitating the development of inter-university and international cooperation.
