The Department of Operational-Investigative and Police Activities is part of the Faculty of Prosecution and Investigation (Criminal Justice) and provides training for full-time and part-time students across all faculties of the National University ‘Odesa Law Academy’, with a priority focus on the educational process at the Faculty of Prosecution and Investigation (Criminal Justice) of the National University ‘Odesa Law Academy’.
The department trains scientific and pedagogical personnel in both full-time and part-time postgraduate programs in the specialty 12.00.09 – Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics; Forensic Expertise; Operational-Investigative Activities.

The department has an archive of essential applied teaching materials from criminal cases, which are used in practical classes and for students’ independent work. Practical sessions and certain lectures are held in specialized (profiled) classrooms. Visits to law enforcement agencies and other institutions involved in crime prevention are organized. The department is equipped with a specialized classroom.
