The Department of Constitutional Law is a part of the Judicial and Administrative Faculty and provides full-time and part-time training at all faculties and institutes of the National University "Odesa Law Academy".

The main goal of the department work is to promote respect for the Constitution of Ukraine, human rights as well as perception of the fundamental principles of constitutionalism, the foundations of the state power and local self-government organization by way of participation in the professional training of legal specialists.

The department teaches the following courses: Introduction to the Law; Constitutional Law; Constitutional Law of Foreign Countries; Legislative Activity; Issues of Constitutional and Municipal Law; Comparative Constitutional Law; Human Rights in a Comparative Studies; Human Rights in Ukraine; Problems of Constitutional Law; Decentralization Reform and Community Development; Modern Constitutionalism.

The courses taught at the department focus on modern problems of constitutional and municipal law in Ukraine and foreign countries.

The department has postgraduate and doctoral studies in the specialty 081 - "LAW".
