The Faculty of Judicial and International Law is one of the leading faculties of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" training highly qualified students in specialties 081 "Law" and 293 "International Law" for work in courts, public administration, local self-government, enterprises, institutions, and organizations regardless of the forms of ownership, including foreign ones. Students of our faculty receive the necessary bulk of knowledge for successful implementation in life through diverse types of activities: judicial, administrative, human rights protection, representative, etc. It is of general knowledge that justice is an objective, impartial process aimed at establishing the truth. It is our faculty that helps future lawyers to form legal awareness and ideology for building an independent state in which civil society institutions would function properly.

The Constitution of Ukraine stipulates that a person, his life, health, honor and dignity, inviolability and security are recognized as the highest social value. Therefore, the faculty’s academic members direct and develop theoretical and practical basis of education in order to always keep our graduates’ future activities in line with the letter of the law.

In addition to training highly qualified specialists in the field of domestic and international law, the main task of the faculty involves upbringing of the qualities which would allow being justly called a worthy individual.

Furthermore, international cooperation between universities and promotion of our students’ academic mobility may be justly regarded as one of important areas of the activity of the Faculty of Judicial and International Law of the National University "Odesa Law Academy". The development of international relations and cooperation is carried out in the context of integration into the world and European educational environment.

Our students take an active part in international, national and university Olympiads, conferences, brain-rings, and round table discussions. The best of the best are awarded for their achievements with named scholarships, mayor's scholarships and scholarships of the President, the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Faculty of Judicial and International Law enjoys respect and popularity among young people and occupies an honorable place in the structure of the National University "Odesa Law Academy".

After graduation, the FJIL graduates continue to actively develop in the scientific, legal and other spheres, occupying dignified positions in state bodies and private institutions

After graduating from the faculty, graduates are employed in:

Security Service of Ukraine (SBU);
National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU);
State Bureau of Investigation (SBI);
Economic Security Bureau (ESB);
Advocacy;
bodies of justice;
notaries;

legal bodies of state power and local self-government;
foreign enterprises, institutions, and organizations.

Student dormitories No. 2 "Yurist" (4 Topoleva St.) and No. 4 "Ekraj" (28/30 Uspenska St.) are attached to the faculty.
