Type of scholarship: short-term (1-2 semesters) study for the academic year 2024-2025

The National University "Odesa Law" has concluded cooperation agreements with Mykolas Romeris University (https://www.mruni.eu/en/university/internationalization/erasmus-and-exchange-studies-incoming/)  and Vytautas Magnus University (https://www.vdu.lt/en/international-cooperation/for-students/vmu-bilateral-exchange-studies/incoming-exchange-students/).  

The deadline for submitting applications through the electronic cabinet is 15 April 2024

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES

1. The candidate must receive official confirmation of enrolment from the selected Lithuanian higher education institution;

2. The candidate must have a good command of Lithuanian, English or another language required for studying at the chosen study programme (the required level of proficiency in the language of instruction is not lower than B2)

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

- Applicants of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) cycle of study approved for short-term study will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 550; candidates of the third (PhD) cycle of study will receive a monthly stipend of EUR 1100;

- Tuition fees are covered by the Republic of Lithuania and transferred directly to the higher education institution;

- Any other fees, travel, visa and accommodation costs are to be paid by the scholarship holder;

- The scholarship will be paid for the period of study and physical presence at the host university.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants must submit copies of the following documents through the NEW online application system: https://sistema.smpf.lt/  

1.  Completed application form (via the online application system);

2. A conditional agreement on training signed by three parties - the candidate, a responsible person from the sending and receiving party (using a template form)

3. One letter of recommendation filled in and signed by a professor or other academic staff member, tutor or employer (using the template);

4. A certificate of proficiency in the language of instruction required by the host institution, which certifies language proficiency at a level not lower than B2. Acceptable certificates are TOEFL, IELTS, CPE, Duolingo or other generally recognised English language exams. If the candidate does not have any of these certificates, a signed letter from the university confirming language proficiency (at least B2 level) is also accepted.

The online application system will be closed at 16:00 European time on 15 April 2023.
