SCiM (Student Conference in Maribor) is an international student conference that takes place every year in Maribor, Slovenia. Every year, more than 50 students from all over the world gather for the 10-day conference to participate in workshops and debates on current social and youth issues, as well as to share their critical views.
The main goal of the conference is to bring together students from different countries, giving them the opportunity to gain new knowledge through workshops. The participants also get to know the city of Maribor through various activities, explore Slovenia during a two-day excursion and make new friendships.
The theme of the 2025 conference is ‘Digitalisation’.
Any student aged 18 to 28 years can apply for participation in the international student conference.
Participants pay a fee of €150. The fee includes accommodation, meals, workshops, excursions, and all daytime and evening activities. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses.
