In accordance with the Programme of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic in the field of education for 2005-2008 (extended until a new document is signed), the Government of the Slovak Republic provides for Ukrainian citizens for the academic year 2025/2026
- 15 scholarships for students to study for a bachelor's/master's degree (duration of study from 1 to 10 months);
- 15 scholarships for postgraduate students to study or conduct research for lecturing or research for university professors or researchers (for a period of 1 to 10 months per person);
- 10 scholarships for studying at the Slovak language and culture summer school (the period of study is August 2025).

Documents are submitted through the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The package of documents is submitted to the Ministry in electronic and paper forms. Paper documents are accepted at the following address: 10 Beresteysky Ave. 01135, Kyiv, Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Directorate of International Cooperation with a note on the envelope: ‘Scholarships for study in the Slovak Republic 2025/2026’. Scanned documents (PDF format) should be sent in electronic format to the Ministry at international@mon.gov.ua. The subject line of the email should read ‘Scholarships for study in the Slovak Republic 2025’.
The deadline for submitting documents is 01 April 2025 (inclusive). Incomplete application packages, as well as documents submitted late or in violation of the terms and conditions, will not be considered. Consultations on scholarships will be provided by phone (044) 481-32-77.
