Applications are now open for the Summer School on Artificial Intelligence in Business and Finance, organised within the framework of the SPINAKER (Spinaker International Education Programme).
The programme is jointly organised by the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw, and the Business School, University of Sussex.
The programme is designed for participants interested in the following areas:
- Fundamentals of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI)
- Applications of AI in financial and geospatial data analysis
- Explainable AI (XAI) – methods of interpretable artificial intelligence
- Business process automation
- Ethical and legal aspects of AI application
- Programming and data analysis tools
Dates of the summer school (three sessions):
- 8–21 June 2026
- 15–28 June 2026
- 22 June – 5 July 2026
The programme is open to undergraduate students (from the second year onwards), Master’s students, and PhD candidates.
Requirements for participants: basic knowledge of Python and R programming languages.
Classes will be conducted in English at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.
Prior to the on-site sessions, participants are required to complete an introductory asynchronous component via an online platform.
Financial conditions: participation is free of charge.
Students from foreign universities may apply for financial support of up to PLN 7,250, covering travel and accommodation expenses.
All participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate.
