Recently, the Department of International and European Law and the Department of Labour and Social Security Law organised a scientific and theoretical interdepartmental distance seminar. The purpose of the seminar was to conduct a preliminary review and planning of research activities, develop proposals and recommendations for improving the quality of research within the Jean Monnet module "The EU as a Global Actor and Agent of Change". The European Commission has approved funding for this module under the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, and its implementation is scheduled from 2018-2021.

The seminar took place on the Zoom platform, enabling each participant to speak and participate in the discussion according to the rules of procedure. The discussion covered various areas including EU social policy, labour relations, EU directives for implementation, cooperation in the field of employment, social policy and equal opportunities under the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, fulfilment of Ukraine's obligations under international and regional agreements, and Europeanisation of the legal system of Ukraine.
