From March 17 till March 23, 2013 within the project “Support of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine” of TEMPUS program, in realization of which National University “Odesa Law Academy” participates, study visit of Associate Professor of Department of Commercial Law and Procedure Mikhail Kartuzov and Associate Professor of Department of Foreign Languages Yulia Yulinetska to the Coventry University (Great Britain) was held.
Representatives of National University “Odesa Law Academy” acquainted with the work of Faculty of Engineering and Computing of Coventry University, departments and enterprises of Coventry University which participate in commercialization of innovations; took part in the meetings of study group aimed at studying experience of Great Britain in the fiend of commercialization of innovation researches of university institutions and creation of subsidiaries for implementation the innovations (spin off).
During the visit they met the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Computing Paul Eve and teaching staff of the University, particularly with the Professor Robert Gingell, Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship Gideon Maas, Director of the Department of Legal Services Fay Grundy, Director of the Department of Protection of Intellectual Property Rights Brian Moore, Director of Serious Game International Company Tim Luft and others.
According to the results of the visit recommendations to improve the current Ukrainian legislation, regulating the commercialization of innovations is planning.
