
In the framework of implementation of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development of Master Programme in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” the first international scientific conference took place on February 14, 2014 at the University of Maribor (Slovenia).
National University “Odessa Law Academy” was represented by Vice-Rector for International Relations Viacheslav Tuliakov and Head of the Department of International Law and International Relations Mykola Pashkovskiy.
Croatian and Slovenian experts shared their experience on the reforms of the legal framework and law enforcement practices at the stage of EY accession with Ukrainian and Russian participants during the conference.
Vice-Rector for International Relation Viacheslav Tuliakov and Head of the Department of International Law and International Relations Mykola Pashkovskiy also took part in the coordination meeting of the partner universities that took place on February 15, 2014 in the University of Zagreb (Croatia).
Participants of the coordination meeting conducted a comparative analysis of the legislation on higher education and educational standards of training of lawyers in the EU member states, Ukraine and Russia and clarified the timing of the realization of the main stages of the Project, discussed the difficulties associated with the Project.
In particular, members of the coordinating meeting agreed to open Information Centers of the Project at the national universities national coordinators of the Project in 2014 (funded by the TEMPUS Program), and to hold of an advanced course “The Law of EU Internal Market” in the summer of 2014, and more than 30 experts will be taking part in it including students from Latvia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Croatia.
