The Petro Yatsyk Non-Residential Scholars Programme will bring together Ukrainian scholars, civil servants, graduate students and public intellectuals to participate in regular virtual seminars moderated by a faculty member affiliated with the Petro Yatsyk Program in Ukrainian Studies at the University of Toronto.

During their participation, the fellows will work on and present a scholarly/artistic/public policy project of their choice on a common theme related to the war and Ukraine's reconstruction, with a focus on governance and the state, law and security, culture and history.

The virtual internships will take place in September-December 2024 and January-April 2025. Preference will be given to applicants who are currently in Ukraine and/or intend to stay in Ukraine.

Successful applicants will receive an honorarium of CAD $3,000 for participation, as well as virtual access to the rich resources of the University of Toronto Libraries.

The deadline is 10 June 2024.
