The National University "Odesa Law Academy" highly appreciates the long-term fruitful cooperation with foreign educational institutions.
This autumn, an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation was signed with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Lublin, Poland).
For many years, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" has been cooperating with international organisations and higher education institutions. The Academy's lecturers are actively involved in advanced training in higher education institutions in Europe. In its turn, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" accepts foreign professors for internships.
Thus, in 2023, the departments of the two universities exchanged experience in a remote format. Nataliia Efremova, Associate Professor of the Department of History of State and Law, took part in a research internship at the Department of Administration and Law of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in order to gain international experience in teaching and research.
At that time, the National University "OLA" accepted for an internship Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Administration and Law of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin - Mazhena Dijakovska. Professor M. Dijakovska had the opportunity to learn about the experience of the scientific and pedagogical work of the staff of the Department of History of State and Law of the National University "OLA", the traditions and achievements of the Odesa School of History and Law.
During the internship, scholars from both sides outlined plans for future cooperation and expressed their wishes to intensify scientific and methodological cooperation between these departments and universities. The signing of the cooperation agreement was a logical continuation of many years of productive joint work between the universities.
