From 6 November to 10 November 2023, on the basis of the Academic Cooperation Agreement between the National University "Odesa Law Academy" and the State University of Moldova (Chisinau, Moldova), within the framework of the international academic mobility programme, the Head of the Department of Sociology, Professor Liliana Yarova, PhD student of the Department of International and European Law Marharyta Zhakun and students of the Faculty of Psychology, Political Science and Sociology took part in the training seminar "Peculiarities of Democratic Development: Sociological, Psychological, Political Science Aspects" held at the State University of Moldova. The training programme included 9 lectures from the lecturers of the State University of Moldova and discussions.
As a result of the academic mobility programme, the participants were invited to the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Education for Peace and Sustainable Development", where they had the opportunity to talk to representatives of educational institutions from Romania, Germany, Italy, and Norway, as well as to the Secretary-General of UNESCO in Moldova, Constantin Rusnak, and the First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of the State University of Moldova, Otilia Dandara.
It should be noted that international academic mobility also involves supporting social, cultural and political relations between countries, so an equally important aspect was the visit of the programme participants to the A. Lupan Scientific Library, the National Museum of History of Moldova and the government quarter of Chisinau, where the Government House, the Office of the President, the Parliament, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova are located
