On 3-4 October 2024, the International Scientific Jubilee Conference "Realities and Prospects of National Legal Education. 65 Years in the Service of National Jurisprudence", organised by the Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova.
On behalf of the National University "Odesa Law Academy", the Dean of the Faculty of Law Serghei Brinza was greeted by the Head of the International Relations Office Daria Minchenko.
The event was opened by the Rector of the University Igor Sarov, the Minister of Justice of Moldova, the Ambassador of Sweden to Moldova, the Ambassador of Moldova to the EU and the Coordinator of the EU Delegation to Moldova. The conference was attended by over 300 participants, including numerous partners of the State University of Moldova from Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, France, Poland, Kazakhstan, judges, bailiffs, academics, lawyers, and students, to share experiences and research results on various aspects of legislative reform in the spirit of new national, European and international trends.
The conference was organised in several sections: administrative proceedings, modern issues of criminal procedure, modern challenges of international law, fundamental issues of private law, the French dimension of law, etc.
The Law Faculty of the State University of Moldova was founded on 1 September 1959. Just like the National University "Odesa Law Academy", the State University of Moldova is proud of its graduates and their contribution to the development of legal science, in honour of which the anniversary collection was published. In turn, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" presented a publication dedicated to our 25th anniversary.
