On 13 January 2025, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Association of Criminal Law, the results of the Professor V. Tatsiy Scientific Paper Competition were summed up. The second Competition is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the founder and long-time leader of the Association, Academician Vasyl Yakovlevich Tatsiy.
Based on the results of the study and double-blind review of scientific articles by the Contest Committee, the organising committee of the Contest decided to award
Diploma of the first degree
Tetiana Pavlenko and Mariia Korabel for the article ‘The national security field under conditions of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in 2022’
Second degree Diploma
Lilia Tymofeeva for her article ‘The Right to Hope of a Prisoner Sentenced to Life Imprisonment VS the Right to Safety of Society and the Victim’;
Roman Movchan for the article ‘Criminal liability for “official” collaborationism: law-making and law enforcement issues’

Olga Kryshevych and Serhii Zadnichenko for the article ‘Distinguishing Acceptance of an Offer, Promise or Receipt of an Undue Benefit by an Official from Related Criminal Offences and Fraud’;

Tetyana Mykhailichenko for her article ‘Surviving the Occupation: Problematic Issues of Legal Assessment of Provision of Medical Products’.

The winners of the Competition will be awarded on 21 January 2025 during the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Professor V. Tatsiy, ‘Scientific Heritage of Professor V. Tatsiy and Current Issues of Criminal Law’.
