Representatives of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” - Head of the Department of Economics and Management Olha Kibik and Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology Yuliia Shmalenko - took part in the International Staff Training Week at the University of Seville, Spain, which took place from May 19 to 23, 2025, under the Erasmus+ international mobility program.

The internship program, which brought together almost 180 participants from around the world, included institutional presentations and an introduction to the activities of the Universidad de Sevilla, roundtables on international mobility and international projects, visits to faculties and research centres, as well as the historic Alcazar Palace. Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the European project UlysseUS, which brings together leading European universities to implement joint educational and research initiatives. The week's participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE), the activities of international graduate and doctoral schools, as well as visit the antique collections and historical archive of the university.

According to the Head of the International Relations Office Daria Minchenko, since 2023, the University of Seville has been regularly accepting applicants and postgraduate students of the NU “OLA” for academic mobility programs, which opens up new opportunities for development, raises the international status of the NU “OLA” and creates prospects for further participation in European educational and scientific programs.

Participation of representatives of the NU “OLA in the internship program contributes to the expansion of international cooperation, establishment of new professional contacts and study of the best European practices in the field of higher education. International cooperation is an important step towards the integration of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” into the European educational space and a confirmation of the high level of training of the scientific and pedagogical staff of our university.
