The Rector of the National University “Odesa Law Academy”, Professor Oleg Todoshchak, and the First Vice-Rector for Academic Activity and Academic Management of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dr. Habil. Olga Cernetchi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
During the meeting, the leadership of both universities discussed key directions of higher education reform, institutional development strategies, opportunities for expanding cooperation, and ways to strengthen inter-university partnership.
The Memorandum provides for the enhancement of mutually beneficial relations, the exchange of scientific and educational best practices, and the promotion of collaboration between faculty members, experts, and students of both institutions. The parties also agreed to jointly use research results, publish academic outputs, and share educational and scientific experience.
A priority area of cooperation will be clinical psychology and mental health. The universities intend to jointly develop and implement educational programmes, courses, and trainings; exchange information, teaching materials, methodological developments, and research results; and organise joint events such as conferences, seminars, workshops, round tables, and academic mobilities.
Special attention will be given to encouraging the participation of students, PhD candidates, faculty, and researchers in joint projects, practical initiatives, and academic activities in areas of mutual interest.
