With the support of the European Union within the framework of the ERASMUS+ project "Modernisation of Master's Programmes for Future Judges, Prosecutors and Investigators in line with European Human Rights Standards" 598471-ERP-1-2018-1-AT-ERRKA2-SVNE-JP (CRIMHUM), the National University of Odesa Law Academy received modern equipment from a partner university, namely personal computers, multifunctional devices, a server, a projector, a video conferencing system and laptops. On the basis of the modern technological equipment, the innovative training programme "Workplace of Investigator, Detective and Inquirer", developed by university scientists, was implemented.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" and the ERASMUS+ project CRIMHUM to improve the quality of education in the field of criminal justice, the library of the National University "Odesa Law Academy" has replenished its book collection.

Within the framework of the CRIMHUM project, which received financial support from the European Union, the library provided an opportunity for in-depth research and training of students and teachers in the field of criminal law and procedure, which is reflected in the new acquisition of literature.

Within the framework of the CRIMHUM project, we received the latest cases with a complete fundamental set of equipment for our masters, future judges, prosecutors and investigators.

The aim of the CRIMHUM project is to modernize teaching process in the most conservative field of jurisprudence by developing and implementing a specialized master's program in criminal justice. Provision of material and technical base is one of the leading directions of the project.

Within the framework of the CRIMHUM project 598471-EPP-1-2018-1-AT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP "Modernization of master's programs for future judges, prosecutors, investigators, taking into account European human rights standards", to conduct internal and external evaluation of the specified project, dissemination of positive experience and best practices obtained within the project, from September 26 to 30, 2021 at the National University "Odesa Law Academy" First Summer School took place.

As part of the CRIMHUM project, on May 17 at 16:00, the last open online meeting with David Cook on the topic “Alternative Dispute Resolution and Human Rights” took place. It is important to note that his lecture based on his 40 years of experience as a lawyer in Tennessee, where he defended the interests of doctors and patients

In the framework of CRIMHUM project the open online meeting with Thomas Kruesmann was held on the topic “Business and human rights” on May, 05 at 17:00 o'clock.

In the framework of Erasmus+ СRIMHUM project on Modernisation of master programmes for future judges, prosecutors, investigators the open online meeting with Сornelius Nolen was held on Аpril, 28 at 16:00 o'clock.

During the lecture, he spoke about the application of international human rights as a consequence of the work of international courts. The lecture was conducted online, in the form of a zoom conference.

On April 23, 2021, the lecture in English of the American professorJ Holmes Armstead was held on-line, in the form of a Zoom conference.

The lecture consisted of three models: "Legal norms established as a result of the Hague and Geneva Conventions", "Rules have been codified and included in the Statute of the International Criminal Court (The Hague, the Netherlands)" and “The impact of established norms on today's protection of rights and freedoms”

On April 26, 2021, the lecture in English of the American professor Emilio Viano was held.

Emilio Viano has authored countless articles and books, the most recently on transnational crime, and is also widely published in law and behavior science journals. He is a pioneer in the field of victimology, victims rights, and recognized internationally for his contributions to justice and human rights. He has authored countless articles and books, the most recently on transnational crime.

On April 19th, an online meeting was held with an experienced lawyer in the United States, Peter Kolker. Peter Kolker is an experienced lawyer. It handles cases in which economic principles intersect with litigation presentations.  Peter has served in federal and state courts, including bankruptcy courts, both on a jury trial and out of a jury, as well as on appeals.

On April 7th, an open online meeting was held with Professor Roy Gonas. Professor Gonas is a Fulbright Specialist and arbitrator who specializes in international commercial arbitration. The lecturer spoke about American jurisprudence and its foundations according to the Constitution of US.

On March 31st, at 16:00 o'clock the open online meeting was held with Professor Hanna Horak, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of Commercial Law and Company Law Faculty of Economics and Business  University of Zagreb (Croatia). The professor talked about the Compliance as an instrument of corporate social responsibility. The participants of the meeting watched the presentation, which was prepared by the speaker and were able to ask questions.

A new course of seminars in the framework of Erasmus СRIMHUM project on Modernisation of master programmes for future judges, prosecutors, investigators with respect to European standard on human rights started last week and will be held for the next month.

The ERASMUS Higher Education Capacity Development 2021 Grant Conference on “Designing the Future: The Role and Responsibility of Higher Education Institutions” was held on January 25 with the participation of Nobel laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. In 2006, Professor Yunus was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work through microcredit to create economic and social development from below".

On November 26, 2020, the National University "Odessa Law Academy" hosted an online course of lectures with Professor of the University of Graz, coordinator of the project "CRIMHUM" Thomas Kryussmann.

An online meeting on the Erasmus + CRIMHUM project "Modernization of master's programs for future judges, prosecutors, investigators taking into account European human rights standards" was held at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" on November 14, 2020 at 11:00.

Under auspices of CRIMHUM project, bearing in mind international human rights standards, following the necessity of widespreading ideas of human criminal justice at Ukrainian legal doctrine, Scientific Council of National University “Odessa Law Academy” has approved the monograph: “Internatonal standards of proof at Ukrainian criminal proceedings: theoretical and scientific-practical fundamentals”. The monograph was created by the Judge of Supreme Court of Ukraine Halyna Kret.

12.05.2020 Dr. Tuliakov Vice-Rector for international relations of National University “Odessa Law Academy” has opened an International Conference “Integrative development of personality and society: psychological and sociological dimensions” with a speech on the Role of Human rights protection in times of social singularity under auspices of CRIMHUM project ideology. Representatives from 6 countries are participating in this event.

Future judges, prosecutors and investigators "Criminal Justice and Human Rights" Master’s program was presented on the 29th February 2020 in National University “Odessa Law Academy” during Open Doors Day.

In December 2019, a quality assessment coordination meeting was held in Kharkiv at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University under the Erasmus+ CRIMHUM project "Modernisation of Master's Degree Programmes for Investigators and Judges in line with European Human Rights Standards".
