ACTUALLY

The European Commission offers 2 types of internship: an administrative internship or a translation internship at the Directorate-General for Translation. Interns work throughout the European Commission, its services and agencies, mainly in Brussels, but also in Luxembourg and other EU countries.

What is expected of an intern?

- Willingness to contribute to the Commission's day-to-day work from a fresh perspective

- A proactive attitude

What are the requirements for candidates?

- Have a bachelor's degree

- No previous work experience of more than 6 weeks in any EU institution, body or agency, delegation, with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) or Advocates General of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) 

- Have a C1+ level of EU language

What can be an advantage?

- Proven work experience

- International profile demonstrated through education, work experience or volunteering abroad, as well as the ability to work in an international environment

- Rare speciality

Duration of the internship: March - April 2024

Payment: 1,350 euros per month.

Schedule: full-time (40 hours/week)
