ACTUALLY

A competitive selection of applications for participation in the Erasmus+ educational mobility program at Anadolu University (Turkey) has been launched.

Applicants of the 1-3 year of the bachelor's degree, 1 year of the master's degree and 1-3 year of the postgraduate degree in Law and International Law, who have at least B1 level of English or Turkish language proficiency, are invited to participate in the competition.

The mobility should be implemented in the second (spring) semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. The academic semester will last from February 10 to May 25, 2024.

In accordance with the terms of the Erasmus+ program, participants in the international academic mobility program are provided with a scholarship and travel expenses are reimbursed.

In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to provide scanned copies and subsequently the originals of the following documents to the International Relations Department no later than December 20, 2024

1. resume (CV, in Europass format);

2. academic transcript (a list of all academic disciplines you have attended at the University, with grades);

3. a relevant certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language;

4. foreign passport;

5. a motivation letter,

6. a copy of the diploma of a junior specialist / junior bachelor / bachelor with an appendix (if any).

Letters of recommendation from teachers and/or employers will also be an advantage.

The selection criteria from the host university for students from partner countries are as follows:

1. Be enrolled in one of the full-time study programs (including evening programs) at their university and not be a graduate student. Complete the first semester, excluding the preparatory school at the home university.

2. If a student is enrolled in one of the Erasmus+ lifelong learning programs in the current cycle (bachelor's, master's, PhD), the total duration of mobility cannot exceed 12 months, including planned activities.

3. Average GPA for bachelor's students: minimum 2.20 over 4.00. GPA for Master's and PhD students: minimum 2.50 over 4.00

4. Have a document confirming knowledge of English or Turkish at a level not lower than B1.

5. All student applicants are listed in descending order according to their Erasmus+ ranking score, which is calculated by adding %50 of the GPA to %50 of the foreign language score, and are nominated starting from the top of the list for the available quota.

6. 10 points for each mobility will be deducted from the Erasmus+ Ranking Score of students who have taken advantage of the lifelong learning program/Erasmus+ programs in the current cycle with or without a grant.

7. 10 points will be added to the Erasmus Ranking Score of students with special needs (only if it is documented).

8. 10 points are deducted from the Erasmus Ranking Score if the student's nationality is the same as the nationality of the host country

9. 10 points are deducted from the Erasmus Ranking Score if the selected student does not participate in mobility without valid reasons.

10. In the case of applying for several types of mobility at the same time, 10 points will be deducted from the Erasmus+ Ranking Score for the mobility that the student prefers.

11. Students studying in two specialties can apply for only one of them in one competition.
