In the frameworks of TEMPUS IV projects “Development of Master’s Program in European and International Law in East Europe “InterEULawEast” the representatives of the National University “Odessa Law Academy” took part in IV final international conference "Legal reform and enlargement of the EU: the transfer of experience, which was based at the University of Maribor (Slovenia) on 4-5^th July.

The main focus of the international conference was made on the contribution of InterEULawEast project in implementation of standards of the Bologna process and the formation of a European educational space. Vice-President of the University, Vice-Rector for International Relations Professor V.Tulyakov, delivered a plenary report on the results of the methodology and techniques of preparation of the Magisterium on International law and EU law at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”.

May 13, 2016 International round table “European Integration: Progress, Challenges and Prospects” was held at the National University “Odessa Academy of Law”.

The work of the round table was organized in the framework of two panels: “European integration: a view from the inside” and “European integration: Ukrainian dimension”.

Professor of the Ca 'Foscari University Bruce Leimsidor (Italy) with more than 40 years of experience in the field of migration management and law; renowned Austrian politician, former Austrian Minister of Defense Friedhelm Frischenschlager and international consultant on transport law with considerable experience on the approximation of EU legislation and projects in Eastern Europe Martin Horseling (Netherlands) participated as international experts in the round table.

European experts and Odessa scientific school representatives submitted reports and presentations that outlined their sometimes critical perspective on the process of European integration and the European Union's relations with Ukraine in the context of the migration crisis, new European security challenges, as well as the implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine.

Undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty staff of the National University “Odessa Academy of Law” participated in the round table.

From 17.02.2016 to 04.19.2016 in the framework of the TEMPUS IV “European and International Law Master Programme Development in Eastern Europe -InterEULawEast” two students- Kristina Leonova (4th year of the Faculty of Civil and Economic Justice) and Vladislava Skorokhod (4th year of judicial and administrative Faculty) studied at the Faculty of Economics and business, University of Zagreb (Croatia) as part of pilot training.

Within the framework of the project students studied the course of commercial law together with the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, as well as with the trans-European students exchange program Erasmus +. The focus of the training program was made to obtain skills in drawing up contracts, preparing presentations, the search for the sources of law in the EU database.

Also students took part in 3^rd International Conference “Legal reform and EU enlargement – transfer of Experiences: Digital Market Strategy – Legal, Economic and Educational Perspectives”, they had study visits to the Croatian Parliament and to the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatia during the educational process.

On March 21-22, 2016 3^rd International Conference “Legal Reform and Enlargement of the EU – Transfer of Experience” was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb (Croatia) and a coordination meeting of the Tempus Project partner universities “Development of the Master’s Program in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast”

National University “Odessa Academy of Law” was represented by Pro-rector for scientific work Mariana V. Afanasieva, Head of the Department of International Law and International Relations Nikolay I. Pashkovskyi, Head of International Relations Department Vadym R. Barskyi.

The main focus of the international conference was made on the formation of the Single European Digital Market. One of the most vivid and memorable was the report of the senior lecturer Nikolay I. Pashkovskyi on "Single Digital Market: New Opportunities for Crime and Justice".

Vol. 2, Issue 2, December 2015of the INTEREULAWEAST Journal was issued. In this issue scientific papers of Odessa school of law scientists as Assistant of the Department of History of State and Law Katsyn Mikhail and graduate of the Department of International Law and International Relations Dorofeev Alexander.

INTERUELAWEAST Journal was founded in the framework of realization of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development Master's Program in European and International Law in Eastern Europe – InterEULawEast”.

The editorial board of the Journal expresses its gratitude to all of the authors, reviewers and technical assistants for the contributions in publication.

As part of the TEMPUS IV «Development of Master Programme in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast» a competition was held among the students of the NU “OLA” for a scholarship at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

Experience of participation in international educational projects, diplomas confirming participation in scientific competitions, contests, etc., scientific publications, English language proficiency certificate (B2 level) were taken into consideration in determining the winners of the competition.

4^th year students of the Faculty of Economic and Civil Justice Vladyslav Daragan and Kristina Leonova are the winners of the contest.

December 18, 2015 at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" it took scientific and practical symposium "Migration Policy of the EU: status, challenges and prospects", devoted to the 15th anniversary of International Migrants Day and the 25th anniversary of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and their families.

Department of European Union Law and Comparative Law, Odessa TEMPUS center and academic club "Unity in diversity" were organizers of the symposium.

The main objective of the symposium - to provide a deep understanding of the trends of the migration policy of the EU, that will contribute to a constructive dialogue to a major legal innovation in different European countries.

Academics and practical lawyers in the field of law, economics and international politics, representatives of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, Odessa Regional Administrative Court, activists of NGOs attended the symposium.

Due to the increasing demand for specialists in the field of international trade and the decision of the Scientific Council of the University to establish the European and International Law Master Programme (Fall 2016) during the first semester 2015/2016 Odessa Tempus Center was recommended to use a platform to study pilot class of International Trade Law. The class was prepared by Nataliya Yakubovska (Associate Professor at the Department of International Law and International Relations, Columbia Law School, RGSL) taking into account modern methodological standards of teaching and use of equipment.

A collective monograph “The Law of Internal Market” was published in the framework of realization of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development of the Master Programme on EU and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” (Zagreb/Voronezh, 2014, 358 pages).

In the framework of realization of the TEMPUS IV Project “The Development of the Master’s Program in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” an intensive course of lectures in “EU Company Law” was held from November 5 to November 7, 2015 at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”.

Experts in EU Company Law from the University of Zagreb (Croatia), University of Maribor (Slovenia), National University “Odessa Law Academy” and the Donetsk National University were invited for participation in the course.

More than 30 undergraduate students, PhD students, young teachers and representatives of partner universities who are interested in the processes of European integration and EU law development tendencies took part in the course.

During the course, foreign experts shared their experience in the approximation of national legislation to the EU law, and Ukrainian experts conducted a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of Ukraine and the EU in the sphere of economic activity.
