The Team National University "Odessa Law Academy" took part in the competition of innovative projects
From 19 to 25 April the team of the National University “Odessa Law Academy” of the associate professor of the Department of intellectual property rights RomanadzeLuiza and the 4-year student of the Faculty of international legal relations Nosenko Yuliia took part in the Competition of innovation projects, familiarizing with the EU practices in commercialization of research results by university staff and students’ for the European project, ‘Support of Innovation through Improvement of Regulatory Framework for Higher Education in Ukraine (SpinOff)’, which took place at the Coventry University, United Kingdom.In the competition also took part the teams of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University ofOil and Gas, National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, Donetsk NationalUniversity of Economicsand Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan Baranovsky. The aim of this trip was presentation of the project created by the team.
The presented by our team project was designed to provide training opportunities for practicing lawyers who are not able to travel frequently from their cities or towns. The proposed solution helps to make training more accessible, mobile and economical (due to no need to spend money on transportation, accommodation, food, other costs). Cooperating with leading universities, according to the project, it is supposed to create online courses that are distance education platform at its core. Thus the institution has an opportunity to earn additional income by implementing its research capacity and for improving the professional skills only working computer and Internet accessis needednow.
23-26, March on the base of Coventry University (the UK) it took part coordination meeting of representatives of partner universities of TEMPUS III Program “Support of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine”.
A coordination meeting of the partner universities was held on March 30, 2015 in the framework of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development of Master Programme in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” at the Riga Graduate School of Social Technologies (Latvia).
Within the realization of TEMPUS III Program “Support of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine” by the Department of Economic Law and Procedure under leading of Professor Podcerkovnyi it was prepared proposals to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the draft of the Act of Ukraine “On amendments to some acts of Ukraine on techno parks activity”
Within the realization of TEMPUS III Program “Support of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine” it was prepared a collective monograph “Experience of universities on innovations commercialization and opportunities of its applying in Ukraine” (Dnipropetrovsk, 2014, 244 p.)
13-14, November, 2014 on the base of law faculty of Kazan Federal University it took the 2nd International Conference “Legal Reform and EU Enlargement – Transfer of Experiences”. The conference took part within within realization of “European and International Law Master Programme Development in Eastern Europe -InterEULawEast” TEMPUS program.
20-24, October, 2014 within the realization of TEMPUS III Program “Support of innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine” it took part study visit of Ukrainian partners to Coventry University (UK) and Polytechnic Institute Porto (Portugal).
Odessa Tempus Centre is established within the Tempus IV project INTEREULAWEAST - European and International Law Master Programme Developement in Eastern Europe along with two other Tempus Centres in partner countries – Zagreb Tempus Center at Zagreb University (Croatia) and Voronezh Tempus Centre at Voronezh State University (Russian Federation). Through the project the centre will acquire a representative library containing a number of publications and expert literature on European law and International law. Library will contain all necessary equipment available for research purposes (linked with relevant academic data bases) and targeted primarily at master students. The centre will disseminate knowledge on European integration, European law and International law to the students of the partner Universities as well as coming from various other institutions of relevant country and from other countries of the region and for wider public. Together with other actions establishment of the "Tempus" centers will ensure the future sustainability of the project.
