Successful Monitoring of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development of the Master Programme in EU Law and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast”
Monitoring of the TEMPUS IV Project “Development of Master Programme in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” was held at the National University “Odessa Law Academy” by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine on November 5, 2015.
The representatives of the University of Zagreb (Croatia, the University Coordinator of the project), the University of Marіbor (Slovenia), National University «Odessa Law Academy» (National Project Coordinator in Ukraine) and Donetsk National University attended the monitoring.
During monitoring, the participants discussed the interim results of the project as well as the difficulties and risks in the post-project period. In particular, it was noted that the University has developed an innovative curriculum for the Master's program (with the implementation during 2016/2017 academic year); University received equipment for interactive classes amounting to over 20,000 euros; University teachers took advanced training at the European universities; University Library has replenished by electronic textbooks on EU law amounting to more than EUR 2,000; several university students received an opportunity to go through a pilot study for a semester at the University of Zagreb.




8, July, 2015 it was conducted the meeting of the Scientific Council of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” devoted to the implementation of the Master Program developed within “European and International Law Master Programme Development in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast” TEMPUS program.
April 20-25, 2015, in the framework of the project TEMPUS IV «Supportof innovations through improvement of regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine" at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal) it was held presentation of innovative projects based onthe experience and practice of the EU in the field of commercialization of the results research by university scientists andgraduate students.
On 20-25thof April a team of National University «Odessa Academy of Law»with Members: Associate professor of Commercial Law & Procedure DepartmentMr. Mikhail Kartuzov and 5-year student of the Faculty of Civil and Economic Justice Martha Shynkar, took part in the competition of innovation projects carried out in the Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland) in the framework of the European Union – Tempus «Supporting innovation by improving the regulatory framework for higher education in Ukraine». The competition was also attended by the team of the National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ivano-Frankivsk), National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk) and the National University of Economics and Trade of M. Tugan-Baranowski (Donetsk).
Representatives of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" Koval D. and Pysmenna V. participated in one of the series of events of TEMPUS project, hosted by the University of Lund. The university was foundedin the XVII century to promote Swedish culture and education in the territory, formerly ruled by the Danish Kingdom. After three and a half centuries, Lund continues to be the hallmark of consistently high quality of Swedish higher education. 45,000 students each year fillthis town with energy and new ideas.
