An online meeting on the Erasmus + CRIMHUM project "Modernization of master's programs for future judges, prosecutors, investigators taking into account European human rights standards" was held at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" on November 14, 2020 at 11:00.

Under the auspices of the Center for International Legal Studies (Salzburg, Austria), together with the National University "Odessa Law Academy", during the quarantine period, online lectures were delivered for students on the ZOOM platform by the university's guest professors Roy Gonas, Neil Tardiff and Emre Senser.

On October 28, 2020, students of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" attended an online lecture by the American arbitrator and lawyer Roy Gonas. There were 2 lectures of 40 minutes each on the ZOOM platform.

On October 26, 2020, at the National University "Odessa Law Academy", an online lecture was given on the ZOOM platform by Professor Fulbright Emre Senser.

On September 21, 2020, the first lecture out of seven on the ZOOM platform was given at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" by Neil Tardiff, a member of the California Bar.

Coordinator of OSCE projects in Ukraine since November 2018. e.c. Recently, the Department of International and European Law and the Department of Labour and Social Security Law organised a scientific and theoretical interdepartmental distance seminar. The purpose of the seminar was to conduct a preliminary review and planning of research activities, develop proposals and recommendations for improving the quality of research within the Jean Monnet module "The EU as a Global Actor and Agent of Change". The European Commission has approved funding for this module under the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, and its implementation is scheduled from 2018-2021.

On July 2, 2020, a meeting of Presidium of the All-Ukrainian Association of Criminal Law of Ukraine took place.

A number of decisions were made as to hold this Fall  an annual Conference  in order to discuss the Draft Criminal Code of Ukraine and to organize an International Conference on Approximation of the Provisions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court to Ukrainian legislation.

The National University "Odesa Law Academy" has been included in the internationally influential Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2024. This ranking identifies and recognises universities that have made progress in achieving numerous of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

According to the publication, which was released on 12 June 2024, the National University "Odesa Law Academy" is represented in eight categories and is recognised as the best among Ukrainian universities in the category "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions", entering the TOP 200 universities that play a key role in building sustainable societies equipped with reliable legal and civil enforcement mechanisms.

The United States Agency for International Development has been successfully cooperating with the Odessa Law Academy National University for many years on programs to develop a methodology for training a new generation of lawyers and reforming the justice system.

In February 2020, the President of the National University of Odessa Law Academy, Academician Kivalov Sergey Vasilievich was accepted as a full member of the Union of Scientists of the Republic of Bulgaria.

On 19 May the Odessa Office of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine provided a webinar for students of the National University "Odessa Law Academy".

The theme of the lecture was "Pandemic and Protection: The Challenges of Fighting Gender Based Violence in the COVID-19 era" from the representative of the office Cornelius Nolen (with the participation of translator Tatiana Veckur).

On the 15th of May the students of the National University "Odessa Law Academy" attended an online conference which was held by Professor of the University of Tartu (Estonia) Laura Milkulso.

As part of English lecture course in National University “Odessa Law Academy” continues the line of education classes from STEP ELSA trainees Silvia Otinetti (Italy) and Emeline Loris (Belgium).

With the assistance of the USAID Rule of Law Program, a webinar was held with the participation of American experts and representatives from Ukrainian law schools, on April 29, 2020.

STEP ELSA trainees Silvia Otinetti (Italy) and Emeline Loris (Belgium) held online conferences with students of NU "OLA" as part of the English lectures course. The problem of forming the European Court of Human Rights, taking into account the requirements of gender equality and the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, was discussed.

From February 28 to March 1, 2020, national selection rounds of the 2020 Jessup Moot Court competition took place at High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine in Kyiv. NU “OLA” team –
